I don't know if anyone else ever finds anything cool on their rides but I tend to find some cool stuff while on bike rides. I just wanna see if there is anybody else who has found cool things.

Things I have found:
iPhone 3g w/ broken screen. (when 3g was still the newest)
a pretty nice like new wallet which was empty. (which I currently use)
camera bag

LVfixed Takes on THE LOOP (fri, sun)

Our good friend and LVfixed member xbrx (josh) is leaving vegas but before he goes, I thought it fitting to let him in on the unyielding punishment followed by sheer joy that is the red rock loop (fixed).

If anyone is interested in joining us, we're planning on a 9am or 10am loop on friday and sunday, each day followed by food and possible hilarity.

tentative meet spot is the starbucks on w.charleston/towncenter @ 9am.

Bring plenty of water, $3.00 loop admission and light clothing as it should already be 100deg by friday. recommended gear inches < 70 in.

Conversion or other options.

I had been given this bike about 7 months ago and I have yet to convert it to fixed/ free wheel.
I've been planning on it, but I have very little knowledge about these things.
I'm looking for help on how to build it or get any idea what to do with it.
I want to take my time with this, because I am on a budget and I have school coming up soon.

I have disassembled most of the parts, but I did not throw anything out; aside from the cables that were rusty.

my friend frank and andrew first told me about it and i didnt really like it. then cubby got into it and i kinda fell in after him.
then i find out that more people i knew rodefixed. like mr. heide, shane, kody, and colt. well then i started to like it alot and now its a daily ritual for me.

A hit and run driver ran into our bikes last night when they were locked up in Portland... on our first night. lol.

The truck was a 60's red pickup with a white roof. No one got a license plate..

Sad.

Does anyone have an account on PDX fixed to repost?
